Deepak S. Patel, MD, FAAFP, FACSM

Dr. Deepak S. Patel practices family medicine and sports medicine at Rush Medical Group in Yorkville, Illinois. He is also the medical director for Rush Copley Sports Medicine in Aurora, Illinois. He began practicing in 2006. Additionally, Dr. Patel previously served as director of sports medicine for Rush Copley Family Medicine Residency, Aurora, Illinois, and is currently assistant professor at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He has authored and served as editor or section editor for several publications on sports medicine topics. He has also served as chair/subject matter expert for sports medicine, musculoskeletal medicine, and ER/Urgent CME courses for the AAFP since 2019.
