Prostatitis can cause many symptoms, including the following:
- Difficult or painful urination
- Frequent urination
- Fever
- Low-back pain
- Pain in the penis, testicles or perineum (the area between the testicles and the anus)
- Inability to get an erection
- Decreased interest in sex
